This municipality is located a few kilometers from Benidorm, next to Guadalest, and at the foothills of Sierra de Aitana. Surrounded by nature it is an ideal place to rest and take trips along its paths and tracks. The mountain imposes its presence as a giant, which encourages the visitor to approach there. The presence of some fountains and springs of water are very important for the main economic activity of the town, the agriculture, based on the cultivation of olive, almond and loquat trees. The urban center, Arabic in typology, presents curious little fountains of colors located in small squares, which can be accessed by narrow and steep streets. If we think of the monuments, we should mention the Iglesia Parroquial de San Miguel Arcángel and the ruins of the Arab Castle that we can find in Penya del Castellet.
