The old Muslim Aljofra has a border condition that makes it dual: it is the first town of the mountain or the last one of the Navy.
Its economic activity is mainly agricultural although its proximity to the coastal tourism and to Guadalest has made flourish a series of tourist services distributed along the road that crosses the town.
Its main tourist attraction lies in its proximity to the summit and the Castle of la Sierra Aitana to which you can climb on a trip starting from the town square where stands a magnificent walnut tree, symbol of Confrides. On the way to Beniardá, on the left side, we can find the small and charming Abdet farmhouse where one eats very well.
