This agricultural and mountain town is located in Guadalest valley, in the shady area of Sierra de Aitana, and is dedicated to the cultivation of almonds and olive trees.
Its streets are very steep, and one of them is called Trencacames (leg breaker) because it presents a steep slope. You can buy excellent oil in the cooperative.
The flavor of the embutidos is delicious. This is an area of high aquifer value; there are many fountains and water births, such as the Molí, the Arc, the Pi, or the Salines.
