The villa is a true diamond located in the very heart of the village of Aigües, just a short walk to the main village square with its pedestrian area, supermarket, butcher, baker [sorry, no candle-stick maker :-)], bars and restaurants, etc... It is quite a unique house high up on the edge of the village in the famous neighborhood of La Torre. The house was built over a century ago in natural stone and with wooden beams. We have thoroughly renovated the building giving it a touch of modernism, high standard of comfort and the most up-to-date equipment possible: insulated roofs, new piping system, new electricity wiring, etc...

The house was love at first sight for us, offering 3 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms. The peculiarities of our villa start by its generous exterior areas and its spectacular views: entering, you will reach a spacious patio via a ramp, very private, and equipped with built-in benches, and with an enormous closet serving as main storage for cleaning products and tools, garden furniture, water heater and washing machine. This first patio connects perfectly with the kitchen, the latter serving as much for the dining room as for the exterior table. During the warm season, one can even lay down in the shade of our monumental fig tree which brings freshness and this real green touch to the villa. The patio is fitted with a sail which adds shade during the burning summer days. At the corner of the house, you will discover the terraces placed in the front of the house and delivering a 180° panorama to the sea, to the village and to the mount Cabeço d'Or which culminates at 1024m... a grand show. The upper level is equipped with a large wooden shaded pergola bringing extra protection from direct sun rays. The terrace allows a perfect connection between the day room (and further the bedroom) and the outside through large French windows. And, in the eventuality of a need to even further protect you from the heat and sun, we have fitted the pergola with Alicante roller blinds typical for the region which may roll down whenever you see fit. With access via another ramp, you will reach the lower level of the terrace built as a bench in the shape of a pentagon which embraces a fire pit. At the end of it, also in the shape of a bench, you will reach the level of the fig tree and remain under its marvelous shade.

At night, you will enjoy the lights of the coastal area and even Alicante in the distance. We have crowned the exterior ambiance with a colour lightning system which creates a touch of surprise and party atmosphere to the patio and terraces.

The house is rather quaint with about 80sqm built space. You enter into the day room which contains the kitchen, diner and lounge areas. We tried to bring as much natural daylight as possible, ensuring you do not lose sight with the sea and the surrounding mountains, from literally every corner of the room. A hidden door will lead you to the back bedroom [suitable for elderly people] equipped with a French window allowing you to exit to the front terrace. The bedroom has built-in wardrobe and is on suite (lavabo, toilet and shower).

Going up the staircase [not suitable for elderly people], you will find another double bedroom. This bedroom allows you access through glazed doors to a spacious terrace-solarium, delivering a brutal view to the sea, where you can sit comfortably or sun bath with much privacy. Another feature of the terrace: it is fitted with an exterior shower. Taking your shower with THAT view... an experience to try out!!!!!

On the same level, you will find the final twin bedroom equipped with a landscape window to the west and another one to the north: you will not lose this beautiful panorama! Finally, both bedrooms benefit from a shared shower room (with lavabo and toilet).
